Amoy has long been synonymous with the very best authentic oriental cuisine ingredients, but did you know that our history can be traced back to the beginning of the 20th century? In 1908 Amoy’s predecessor, Tao Fa, was founded in Xiamen (Amoy) in the Fujian Province of China. Established by the Wong and Cheng families, Tao predominantly produced soy sauce and milk. Over the following years, Amoy moved its production to Hong Kong and continued to grow its product range, reputation for quality, and operations across most of East Asia. Today, Amoy products are available all over the world but despite many changes to the company, we have never lost sight of its key focus; to produce the very best authentic oriental products.
